Robert M. Vincent, MS.Ed, CPP, CDP, NCACII

Rob has more than 21 years of professional experience in Education and Chemical Dependency fields. He has Directed Counseling and Assistance Centers for the U.S. Navy. He currently serves as the Administrator of True North—Student Assistance and Treatment Services where he has been responsible for developing, administering, and implementing prevention, intervention, and treatment programs for substance abuse within the education setting. He serves as a national trainer and a Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) consultant. Rob received his Masters of Science Degree from Southern University of Illinois. He is a Certified Chemical Dependency Professional, Nationally Certified Addictions Counselor, and is a Certified Prevention Professional. 

Mike Towey, MA, CPP, CDP

brings more than 27 years of experience in administration and clinical supervision. Mike is a tenured faculty member of the Human Service Program at Tacoma Community College. As a Nationally Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor, Towey works with individuals, families and groups. He is a consultant in Skill Standards and Curriculum Development and has considerable experience in grant writing, program development, and as a Social Research Consultant. Mike received his Masters in Public Administration from Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington and his Bachelor of Arts from Seattle University.
 
 
 
 
John Hughes, MSW, CPP, CDP

John has been a social worker for the past 36 years. He has provided mental health and chemical dependency treatment in a variety of settings including hospitals, military bases, school districts and classical treatment centers. John was instrumental in setting up student assistance programs in Oregon and Washington. He helped to develop the first school based drug treatment program. He has extensive experience working with Adult Children of Alcoholics. John has a masters in social Work, School Social Worker Certification, Chemical Dependency Counselor and currently serves on the Washington State Prevention Certification Board.

 

 

   

John Thompson, MA, CDP


began working in the field of Chemical Dependency in 1989 and is currently a clinical supervisor and lead counselor for True North – Student Assistance & Treatment Services. He is a nationally certified trainer and a Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) consultant. John received a Masters of Arts Degree in Psychology/Counseling from Chapman University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology/Mental Health Counseling from Western Washington University. He is a certified Chemical Dependency Professional.

 

 

 

 

Regina Hughes, MSW, CDP


 

Regina began working in the Chemical Dependency field in 1986. She provided treatment and case management for families, youth and adult dual diagnosed clients. She coordinated a three year violence prevention program serving 15 school districts. She received her Master’s in Social Work from University of Washington. She is a certified School Social Worker and a Licensed Chemically Dependency Professional.
